I have always managed at least one game of WRG 6th each year since it came out and have got an early one under my belt in 2012

Sounds good! I always liked 6th, and your scenario would have been a good one to play.

Nice! I'd love to play some 6th again.

I miss 6th. We had many great games but felt forced to join in with newer rules.
All these newer rule sets have not actually given better games. I suppose the saying "if it is not brocken why fix it" echoes forth.

6th was the first rules i ever used, those early games we had we still talk about now 25 years on !, we remember when a 6 man companion wedge stopped and beat 24 roman EHC, you never remember when you got a pushed back in DBM and your general died !.

I love 6th.. works well for Meds of all types. However, am short of the Army Lists for the Crusades. Anyone got a page or two of theses they can throw me?
