For those wondering why Chronopia, an out-of-print fantasy ruleset, has been on the top of the TMP fantasy ratings lately… here's a link to a 2005 review: link I think this has been reprinted on Chronopia World, and I don't know where it originally comes from. Overall Chronpia is a grade "A" game. The mechanics are well done, easy to use. Actual tactics not uber-characters determine victory. Its skirmish style promotes a healthy interaction between players and all units have worth on the battlefield.Simply put I recommend this game wholeheartedly. Its perhaps one of the best, if not the best fantasy game on the market. In addition to this the ever growing miniatures lines has ver good figures at very reasonable prices. All in all an excellent buy. |

Wasn't Chronopia by Target Games? The same group that did Warzone for Sci=fi. Last I heard they were bought out by some swedish company. Now I think that Prince August has the line the last few years. |

I believe Chronopia was published by Heartbreaker, then went to Target Games after Heartbreaker went into bankruptcy. Probably Prince August ended up with the molds after Target went into bankruptcy. Prodos Games has picked up Warzone, but has said they do not plan to acquire Chronopia because they need to develop what they have and grow their company. |

They'd just make ugly resin computer-generated monstrosities out of them. |

Prince August did end up with a lot of the left-over stock, but that apparently ran out two years ago. No sign of new activity since. |

Target games was some swedish company. If I understand it correctly, the remains of target were reformed into/bought by Paradox, these days known for making deep computer strategy games, and aquiring IPs like Conan and Vampire. |

I believe Chronopia was published by Heartbreaker, then went to Target Games after Heartbreaker went into bankruptcy. My copy of the original Chronopia rulebook has the copyrights and trademarks very clearly attributed to Target Games AB. |
