I put 4, 5 or 6 Brits (average of 5)on 60x60 mm. 4 bases to a unit. The Early Imperial Romans are in units of 10 – 12 figs on 2 60x60mm bases (in 2 ranks for the 9 'normal" cohorts)plus 1 unit per legion (senior cohort) of 15 – 18 figs on 2 60x60mm bases. These 10 units = 1 legion. The infantry aux. are as per the normal cohort (quingenarie or the infantry component of equitatae) or senior cohort (milliarie). Ala are 2 cav per 60x60mm base (4 bases to a unit). The cav of equitatae of 2 per 60x60 base but grouped with other cav to form a unit.
