I have just run a test battle using Battlelust to get a feel for the rules. All of the figs used are 15mm from various manufacturers. Since I used 15mm figs, I halved all of the distance values.

I'm a fan of Battlelust and agree with you on the armor effects. I've played it mostly with shield only or GAC-1, with a few GAC-2 guys thrown in. Had a game with one guy in GAC-4 and it took quite a while to bring him down.

I like the rules and would definitely use them with a Harnmaster Game, but I would not use them with a later time period, or a high fantasy game with heavy armor… At least not without modifying the rules some.
