I've recently been told about these rules and am keen to have a go, although finding a copy of the rulebook in Australia is nigh on impossible .
1. are units built in much the same way as for WHFB , so a unit can be as big or small as you like with whatever frontage and depth I like ?
2. do heroes and/or leaders join a unit ?
3. are casualties removed from units as single figures much the same as WHFB ?
4. is there anywhere i can buy these rules from ?, my google search has failed me thus far
Thankyou for any assistance, cheers Tom

4. link
3. In previous editions, the answer is 'yes' – casualty removal and I think that stayed in.
2. Can't recall hero interaction with units.
1. Size of unit was up to the player IIRC.

1. unit size is up to the player.
2. Heroes and magic users can join a unit making them impossible to target, unless the unit goes into skirmish formation.
3. Casualties are removed as single figures. I doubt an opponent would object to the use of casualty caps on multi-figure bases though.
