Excellent game report, I'd not thought of using VASSAL for minis games. When we did Asculum (using Strategos/LB), it was a much closer run thing for Pyrrhus, a true Pyrrhic victory. |

Hi Martin, As it turns out, this was also reasonably close in terms of points, though I can't remember what the final tally was. Strategos/LB, with its grid system, works very well with VASSAL, as do most hex-based games. You can use it for games with ruled movement such as DBA as well, but it gets a bit more fiddly. Progress is being made in this area though and I'm sure it'll soon be a cinch to play things like FoG over VASSAL. Cheers, Aaron |
