Yesterday we played a "Lost Battles" game and as a result I have posted a short report. It found Plesistarchus, one of Lysimachus' sons, trying to reform the Lysimachid Kingdom engaged against Callisthenes, previously a commander from Ptolemy Keraunos Macedonian army at Maronea in 277BC. A brief report and a few photos can be found here: link |

Very nice, Keith. Nothing like getting generals killed ;-) Cheers, Aaron |

Very nice report and pictures, I believe their are a lot of "Tin Soldiers" 15mm miniatures on the field, am I correct? Also a great battle to do a re-fight of, it doesn't get a lot of press! |

Also a great battle to do a re-fight of How can you do a re-fight of a fictitious battle? |

There are indeed a number of "Tin Soldier" 15mm figures on the table. Indeed, one army comprises Tin Soldier figures only. Some, are veterans of several years, such as the hoplites, while others are recent recruits purchased and painted recently. You are correct, Maronea does not get a lot of press. So the term "refight" is of course used loosely. That said I'm sure there were plenty of oppurtunities for generals to consider a bid for power. |
