Hello all,

I was able to get the figures out for a game of Chaeronea last night.

Anyone wanting to take a look can do so here:

Wow, interesting game. I thought Sulla was close to pulling it off. Great looking figs as always.

Thanks,

John

Thanks John – Sulla was just a measley four hits away from perfection ;-)

Hope you're planning on getting some good gaming in over the winter!

Cheers,
Aaron

Excellent report there Aaron.

Good report Aaron – Pontics did well with perhaps a hand ted behind their backs. Problem is always going to be lack of reasonable melee infantry.

Planning to try out Pontics against Marians using Hail Caesar soon.

Thanks gents!

I'm going to be trying out Hail Caesar soon as well, Gary. Would be keen to hear how you get on.

Cheers,
Aaron

I've found that all the Makedonian Successor factions tend to have a hard time (harder than the actual accounts of the battles suggest) because rules tend to abstract the full effect of a pike as a formation weapon.
