I've been frustrated with Phil's Barkerese just one too many times. I'm sick of the way he practically insults players by deliberately making perverse rule changes in answer to our critiques. From now on, I'm playing WAB, and I'll play it in God's own scale, 28-35 heroic millimetre. Now, what's that saving throw bonus you get for being on a horse again? |

Do Midianite camel riders get two saving throws for double riding, or do they split it and only get half? |

I knew Ivan would come around. |

Good one, Ivan! Guess you'll need to change your nickname, though? It's +1, by the way - same as having an element in flank support. See, easy as pie. ;-) Later, Markus |

I'm assuming this is an April's fool but what they heck. Ivan "God's Own Scale" is 6mm What you must do is go to Pete Berry at Baccus, buy loads of his little chaps and stick many onto a 20mm base for inf or 50x you know what for cav. Just think how massed your army will look then! |

6mm DBA, that's the way to go. You can carry all the armies for a multi-sided campaign around in your pocket. And as an added bonus they might get crushed by your loose change:-) |

Now now poppet. It's just a momentarily burble of FAITH. Surely this can be cured by rereading the introduction to DBA, where within all TRUTH is contain. The WISDOM of the ages. You used to know and preach this my child. Don't lose sight of that. For conversion to WAB brings great peril to your dice rolling wrist. |

April the 1st.... hmm.... You know I was having a discussion with a mate on how well DBA would do with a few glossy pictures and being written in plain english.... Until then, I'll be a WABbit and proud of it. Guy |

I think God's own scale is the new Micron Scale from Irregular. At that scale you can play almost the whole Roman Empire on one table. Too bad you can't see it! |

All of the Gallic Wars on a 2' by 2' section! At 1:1 scale, even! The possibilities are endless! Later, markus |

Do Midianite camel riders get two saving throws for double riding, or do they split it and only get half? - - - > In WAB, if they turn they must roll leadership.. if they pass they may turn the direction they wish, if they fail they must turn the opposite direction :) JeffJ |

Midianite Camel Riders must pass a "Spitting camels" test at the start of each turn, if this is failed the camel wont do anything, it sits there spitting. The player controlling the camel is required to simulate this by spedning the turn spitting on the floor |

Sorry Jeff but I do not get your point. A convention at Carl's Junior and no DBA or what? Was there WAB there instead? I report activity at shows that I see. If more WAB than DBA or DBM then so be it. A show in two weeks in B'Ham AL has all DBM and no WAB or DBA on the list. The Nashville show in May will have DBA but no DBM and I have not gotten a list showing any WAB. Two weeks later the Bayou Wars will have a lot of DBM, little DBA and DBR and maybe a WAB game but it is in question. Just the facts and if you have a problem with that, I am sorry. |
