Looks like you're ready to sack Panama.

Aaaaarrrrgghhh!

I'm looking forward to seeing the completed army. I do hope you are getting into the spirit and drinking plenty of rum while you're painting these up

looking great – is this 15mm – love the ship

madaxeman12 Mar 2013 9:59 a.m. PST

Yep, 15mm (or closer to 18mm for the Blue Moon figures… who can as a result sometimes make some of the Peter Pig chaps look like they are cabin boys by comparison!

First few bases are now finished. Only a sample – still only 2 bases out of about 70 done, but its really starting to take shape now…

And the baggage is finished too!

+1,000 on your camp. Often, camps are cobbled together quickly and with not much imagination. Not yours…I love it!

Getting the resin "water" to work and not seep out of the temporary artificial dam I had to build round the base only too three attempts over the course of about 2 weeks…. !

All done now (apart from the ship which is almost done)!

Fantastic stuff.

How many wooden legs, eye patches and parrots feature?

madaxeman26 Apr 2013 3:51 p.m. PST

I think just 2 parrots, but a few more wooden legs…..

The Ship should get finished this weekend too…

Wonderful project from start to finish. Great painting, mix of figures, and I really like how the Pirate artillery looks like it was right off the ship!

I've really enjoyed following along and I can't wait to read how they perform in your AARs. Now I've got the tune "What do you do with a drunken sailor?" in my head.

The ship is now complete too – pics via the original link.

Glad you've enjoyed it – first competitive outing due in a couple of weeks at Campaign in Milton Keynes (so you might see it in the flesh)!

That barque looks fantastic. I must remember to take a bunch of pics of it (and the rest of your army) at MK in a fortnight.

Thanks for the pics – the Peter Pig and Grumpys don't look to out of place with the Blue Moon
