I'm trying to decide whether using pleshes (field fortifications) with my Gallic army is worth it.

The ideal would be to put a unit of javelin men in front, able to evade over the pleshes (& the defenders: say medium infantry) without penalty.

Is this possible? (I've looked & can't find anything)

I really cant say that I've seen anything either.

I'm still using V1.

Common sense says that this is possible, provided the javelinmen (I'm assuming they are light foot) have enough evade movement to get back through whatever troops are defending the pleshes.

I can't think of any differences between V1 and V2 for this.

@ Tamsin.

Many thanks.
