Wow! After over a decade since making my last counter set, I've begun making new counter sets designed for the Warmaster Fantasy and Warmaster Ancients rules, but since the counters don't have any stats on them (unlike my old sets) they can be used for any game using 20mmX40mm basing standards. The sets are free and done in PDF format. BTW I usually like using images of painted miniatures so they look like a real miniature game.

Right now, I've uploaded three new ancients sets: New Kingdom Egypt, Assyrian, and Early Imperial Roman. I'm working on enemy sets for the Romans. I'll be doing a number of other ancients, dark ages, and medieval sets as well.

I also post army lists for 1000 to 2000 point armies to get folks started using the counters.

I'm posting this to the Fantasy board as well because I'm also working on Warmaster sets for Araby and Kislev. Nippon and other trial army sets will be coming as well. Plus, all my older Warmaster sets are also available as PDFs at the blog.

If you look in the archive posts, I also have a photo article on printing the sets and mounting them on Litko-like bases. I did this for my WMF Empire set since my son loves the Empire. :-)

Well, I hope some of you find these useful. They are a cheap way to play the game while painting your armies or trying to figure out what troops to buy before laying out a lot of cash. Plus, they travel easily. :-)

Very nice looking counters.

Well done! These will be very useful especially as they are not tied to a single set of rules with force values printed on. I look forward to giving these a try. – especially like Roman General: good job!

Very smart thumbs up!

VERY nice! Thanks for these. I've become quite a fan of paper armies over the past couple of years.

Glad you like them. I have fun late in the evenings working on them.
