According to Yahoo WABlist and DBMlist share 446 common members.

Obviously a deep and bitter schism exists between the two games ;-)

Sadly for your theory, I am 445 of them, in my sock-puppet guise. I spend my time asking irritating questions about Cataphracts.

The 446th member is no longer an active participant in the discussions as he is not allowed sharp objects such as rulers or little brass pointy sticks.

Out of 3853 and 2243 members respectively. That's surprisingly few given the narrow field of ancients miniatures gaming.

Are you sure its not 444, a rather small devil?

Or 333 – the sign of the incompetent minion?

An interesting statistic.

Perhaps we need regular scores for all of the competing Yahoo lists ;)

Although there is that old adage-
keep your friends close and your enemies closer…

keep your friends close and your enemies closer

Exactly!

They're keeping an eye on each other…

The first one that twitches and reaches for a copy of FoG loses.

The 446 is just the tip of the ice-berg…the cunning ones post under different handles on each board…

How the heck did you figure those numbers out? I am (or was) on both. Heck I am on most ancients rules groups. I follow the threads more for the discussion of the era rather then the rules system. I got the boot from one moderator who thought I was the enemy of the state as far as tournaments go but what the hey.

The number was kindly provided for me by Yahoo. On the sidebar of one of my WABlist messages was a "similar groups" with the number of overlapping members. King Arthur Pendragon RPG also has a fair few followers in common with WAB
