I pretty sure it's a social experiment. There never was a Tactica II. Arty is just seeing how long he can keep jerking us around. Seriously, people still believe in that moon landing bit and that was 41 years ago. People are stupid. |

Hi Hanibalgreg, I think that "Gratuitous Saxon Violence" is probably just expressing some frustration with the wait. I can sympathise with that a little; I thought the rules were going to be published in time for Historicon, the same as Legion50. |

Odd insults aside, I've gone on with my life. Some of the playtesters on the yahoo group have it and are playing with some permutation of it, but as for the rest of us serfs, well…. I've moved along, though I must say that with some tweaking, I don't mind playing Tactica I at all. Nice game. |

I will probably be running a game of Tactica II at Recruits in KC in September. Come out if you want to see it. I usually run two Successor armies. Lots of pikes, elephants and cavalry. |
