Finally finished them, they were supposed to be a small ally for an Alexandrian army but things got out of hand fairly quickly. I bought some cheap old glory lead on ebay but then fleshed it out a bit more than planned with 1st Corps stuff through sale creep ( very helpful gentleman there).
As you can see I also found an aquarium temple to use a baggage.

I meant scalecreep miniatures, they were very helpful getting the Indians as they don't usually carry them, they do have other 1stCorps stuff.

That looks cool! Love the baggage.

That is a fine looking army. Porus would be proud.

I would enjoy viewing your photos since this is a topic of interest. I do not want to have a Flickr acct to do so.

You can use your own photos. For instance, let's say I have a picture on my PC.
I go to an online image hosting site like this one:
tinypic.com
It asks me to browse my files, which I do. The photo I want is a hideous alien invader. The app asks me what size I want, so I choose a thumbnail size. Otherwise it's too frightening :)
It offers several formats. I left click on 'forums and message boards' (not 'websites' for TMP). Easy, and the photo will appear in your forum message.

I don't have a flickr account and had no trouble viewing the pics. Technology is hard I guess….

leidang11 Jul 2016 8:06 a.m. PST

YOu shouldn't need a Flickr account to view things on flickr

Those elephants are particularly fine. The face-painting looks terrific.

You started out with a "small ally" and ended up with all those? I think you were right in the first place, when you typed "sale creep"!

I viewed the army and concur, beautifully painted and based army. The temple/baggage is also impressive.

Technology may be an issue, perhaps through my ISP. Using Yahoo, I can view Flickr. When I clicked on the link above, a Flickr launch page appears and unless I sign on, can not proceed. My note was intended to be helpful for those who want to post photos from their own gallery without having to lauch Yahoo/Flickr or other photo repositories.

Thanks, aynsley683, for sharing your army. You are inspiring me to complete my Museum Miniatures 15mm Classical Indian army. :^ )

Gurkhan,
As I said they started as an ally for my Alexandrian pike army as the lead was cheap on ebay.
The army itself isn't that good in DBM and I think in MM it's worse, Bw is ordinary not superior and Cv(s) chariots have been downgraded in usefulness terms from the comments on the MM forum. Not enough skirmishers for my liking in the DBx lists to boot.
Then at the same time I came across the aquarium temple piece I am using as baggage so took it as a sign, then I thought what the hell just a few more chariots and I had to have ( and try and paint ) some elephants, I mean a classical Indian army isn't complete without elephants is it?

Outstanding! Truly a work of art. Gotta love the Indians. They make a great looking army with a nice variety of troops types.

Superb

goragrad12 Jul 2016 3:22 a.m. PST

Nice!!!

JC Lira12 Jul 2016 9:54 a.m. PST

They look good. I have an Indian army, too; I recently used it as the army of Asoka at the battle of Kalinga. You should think about playing Hail Caesar if DBM isn't portraying the army as you like.

Markconz13 Jul 2016 2:20 a.m. PST

Beautiful work!

Ghecko14 Jul 2016 5:31 p.m. PST

Yes, be proud of a lovely job.

aynsley68314 Jul 2016 7:33 p.m. PST

I must admit I think I spend just as much time researching what to paint what and what others have done as I do with the actual painting of the figures.
