This is my third ancient project for which I have already begun painting armies.

The project continues as Rome's Final Act; the transition period from Later Imperial to Patrician and the barbarian tribes that helped draw the curtain shut.

There will be new armies and building projects and more importantly the campaign rule set will receive further adaptations; political and economic elements.

Oh boy, this grouping should run the gammut from tried and true champions of history like the Visigoths and the Saxons, to also-rans like Alamanii and Alanii, to the down right wierd like the African Vandals. I'll be watching this spot.

Tomorrow I shall post a brief overview of the Imperial army and on Thursday, the administration.

A timeline will follow which will give a better impression of events pertaining to Gaul and Italy, post Constantine.
