This is the second report from our game session with Simon Miller's To the Strongest! rules.

This time it was Gauls vs Romans.

The report is here for those who may be interested.

Great looking game. I'm putting together the same pairing but in 6mm. Really looking forward to trying the rules out.

Thanks for posting again, Aaron. That looked like a really close battle; it's always hard to break a Roman line – it sounds like you came very close!

Best, Simon

Thanks for this and previous posts. The more I read about these Rules the more they sound attractive – AAR had me on tenterhooks right upto the end. Well done.

Nice report. It's probably just the camera angle, but it looks like the Gauls are 28s and the Romans are 15s.

idontbelieveit, they are pretty massive Gauls, but not quite that big!

Being a mixture of Tin Soldier and Xyston they're a bit taller and bulkier than the Old Glory / QRS Romans they are fighting.

Great write up and pictures. Good to see the forces well balanced but behaving differently.
