I have added two posts at my blog covering the Parthian armies in my 2nd/3rd century collection. Their initial test games, they held off Sassan and drew with Rome. This follows historical events as the great rebellion by Ardashir did take eleven years to finally overthrow the Parthian rulers. Parthia, part one:
