Is this crop, from your blog, of the Khurasan T'ang cataphract? I don't recall an officer figure for that. Perhaps it's the general figure? Certainly the hornplayer is from that set. The horses look like Essex.
How do the Khurasan figures match with Essex in size? Nice figures. Like your infantry shields. |

Very nice Army – I hope it fights well for you I see that you mentioned the Great Wall as a possible engineering project to display. A more fitting example would be the construction of the Great Canal which the Sui started Many historians argue that the tremendous costs of this project took money away from other important areas, such as the army, and was a leading contribution to popular dissatisfaction and eventual fall For those wanting to now more about the Sui Wiki has a good piece link |

Hi Dragon 6, yes, I grabbed the Khurusan General plus hornblower, and the Artillery. The horses are Essex. The Khurusan figures match pretty well with Essex for size, but they are quite slender in comparison. There are a couple on the artillery bases. (I did mention it was a Great Wall repair?) |
