So I'm looking through My bases collection today to find stuff for the Napoleonics Project. I have enough 15mm size for the Austrians, but it will be time to make more afterwards. The next box is of bases for 25/28s, and we get to the third box.I'm amazed at all the 40mm wide bases in it. "Maybe I won't need to cut any." I say to my self.
I go to condense the boxes, and all these sweet bases are 40 x 50mm. "??????????" I say.(stronger words were spoken.)
The only thing I can figure, is that I've had these from back when I was still basing 25mm cavalry 2 to a stand, for that pretty column effect in WRG 6th. I do have a small chop saw, that I can cut some of the 60mm infantry bases down to 40mms.
I don't think DBM/M had that may double based troops did it?
There has to be close to 100 of them.

Put those back on the pile and buy new ones. Your labour/time costs are surely higher?

I agree, there are so many 40x40 options out there, cutting is not worth it.

I personally like the Victrix with the rounded corners, they look sharp (pun? sure) and are pleasing to the eye.

you could always try Renaissance Ink. They have some great bases at a real good price.

Second to Renaissance Ink. I recently bought 500 bases from them, at a good price and fast service. There were 510 bases in bag, well done.

By the way, 60mm by 40mm is the DBA size for 25-28mm cavalry, knights and light horse and some hordes. Maybe sell on ebay? Or did you mean 40 by 50?

Yeah, I know that. That's a panic move. Put the figs down and go get yourself a stiff shot, a nie cold six pack of beer and watch the Duelists on Netflix… oh wait, THEY DON'T HAVE THE DUELISTS ON NETFLIX! @$#%!!!
