Another thread (see: TMP link ) lead me to find this cool looking Classical Indian Army here: link

This picture struck at me of just how cool a mass of 6mm looks on the tabletop.

Massed 6mm figures look great.

check out folk.uio.no/arnsteio/DBXin6mm for some inspiration.

If I didn't have all my Ancients armies in 15mm I would seriously look at 6mm instead. I am doing my Renaissance stuff in 6mm because it looks great.

Personally I would far rather use this than 20 15mm figures.

I concur.

Indeed. They look like ARMIES.

Do you want to be a general or a sergeant?

Of course, even if I want to be a sergeant, I go for 6mm – because I can be a sergeant in a lot less space for a lot less expense and with more realistic ground scales. I pretty much only go for larger scales if I want to be a gladiator. wink

I have always liked the look of Dba armies with the 25mm basing scheme crammed full of 6mm figures.
