How do you base these elements?

3 foot, plus some riderless horses and a horseholder? 2 foot and maybe 2 mounted, to show they are mounting/dismounting infantry? All mounted?

i use a mixture of all of the above.plus lots of scatter on the base to represent rough terrain.

i dont think it states in the rules what it HAS to be.

Most FoG:R dragoons seem to be a line of foot with one or more horseholders behind them.

I've started using 2 foot figures with 1 mounted for my FoG-R dragoons It allows me to utilize my large numbers of mounted dragoons.

Since Old Glory doesn't make a dismounted Late Polish dragoon, I did mine as 3 mounted figures on a 40mm deep base (15mm figures).

For my 10mm dragoon bases (on 15mm bases) I used 2-3 musketeers firing, 1 mounted type in Hat standing on the side, and one horse + horseholder in the back.

I've done mine as 2 dragoons on foot, 2 riderless horses and one mounted dragoon, with an extra mounted standard bearer on the command base. Depending on how you arrange them it can look a bit crowded, particularly with Donnington figures which seem to be on the larger end of 15mm.
