Those are very nice and the DBA combo mat looks to be an outstanding bargain.

Could you make 2x3 foot mats available on request?

Just order 2 x 4'X 6' 28mm Europe. They look great – just what I have been looking for.

I like the San Juan Hill mat, it would be great as a tropical setting for my Spanish town terrain from Hovels Ltd for a pirate(specifically the new Blood and Plunder game from Firelock Games)assault to capture supplies and treasure, but I think it would be better with about 50% less trees around the middle of the mat(I.e. A bit more open ground), Can you guys at Cigar Box Battle make a me custom mat with less trees?

I am still waiting for a true 2' x 2' DBA Mat. The duplex version is too big and combines a seldom used dry format with a pale green side.

The "green" side is not very green, more yellowish. I may need to give a dusting of spray green paint. Also shiny. The desert side is nice. I think there are only 43 Dry armies out of 600. Not very cost effective to have an equal number of terrain types on one mat, unless it is possible to buy extra grassy ones. I would buy a couple mats if they were green. I also didn't like the woods with cobblestones in between the trees. I used the "green" mat at a DBA demonstration.

Bobgnar, the mat by Gorgon Studios is a 2'x2' DBA mat. I measured mine to be sure

Who sells them in the UK?

Indeed the Gorgon Studios DBA Mat is 2'x2'. I have 2. I am wondering how this came into the discussion of Cigar Box mats? The wonderful DBA mat by the Terrain Guy is also that size. Wish he were still in business.

Northstar used to sell them in the UK (I bought the 'European fields' one from them, and very nice it is too), but it seems they don't any more.

Cornelius07 Dec 2016 4:53 a.m. PST

Yes, it is a shame Northstar no longer have them. They were in a sale and I hummed and haa-ed and then they were gone and it was too late!
