Yesterday Plymouth Association of Wargamers held a Sword & Spear games day. Twelve players got together to play six games of Sword & Spear, with the games focusing on the classical ancients period. The day went very well, with everyone enjoying the games. For a more complete write-up of the days events, see here:

12 is a nice number for a single event. Glad everyone had a good time and seem to agree with how the rules "felt". I hope you continue to have success with your rules. I think they are a very good set of Ancients rules.

Nice. Good to see a few minifigs in action as well! Those table mats are great. Where do you get them from?

Cheers,

I have been informed that they are old GW cloths that you can't buy any more.
