Had a nice battle at weekend with new Sumerian list (2500pts per side) using Clash of Empires.
The Sumerian chariots in 2x4 units punched well and much better than WAB. Makes it worthwhile to put this very appealling troop type on.
The Egyptians did well using mass chariots to surround and threaten flanks firing in massed shots with bows (Used like light or medium cavalry).
The Sumerians were eventually out manoevered by massed light chariots in open space but killed many Egyptians.
