Stuart; The setup was great, now I have to read it again and should have some questions? You had your boys in 2 ranks which give you a +1, correct? Loved the river bed and not sure about the ropes in the fields? These rules are making me buy "EIR" and wanting to walk in the woods with them. For some reason your rules feel like an old friend, I haven't figured that out yet.

Correct, Bob, it gives them a +1 bonus for combat results. The rear suppor of the legionaries gives them another +1 bonus. The fields were vines.

I think most of my boys will be untrained legionaries that are drilled, this should hold the cost down some what. This will allow me to bring some other goodies.

I can't bring untrained legionaries that are drill, but you can bring drilled aux.
