Our Dark Age campaign pits Normans vs rebellious Anglo-Danes (Northumbrians) sometime after 1066 somewhere near York. We are using the Operations & Objectives WW2 campaign rules using the CoE modification. Basically you move elements on a hex map and fight the battles on the tabletop.

This was the second battle of the campaign, as the Anglo-Danish commander, Aedilred, rashly moved beyond the bridge at the Ouse to defend a position further from his supply lines.

Nice AAR, if you don't mind what campaign rules are you using?

I browsed the Great Escapes site and no where could I find anything on O&O. I saw the page with the free downloads but the book wasn't even listed in the online store. Any idea where to get info or purchase the rules?

Thanks

GEG site is on a rebuild! It's on the CoE site:
