Had an enjoyable game 2600pts a side. A very hard fought and even matched battle. Hittite chariots were strong with long spear and 3 crew and even dared frontal infantry attacks.
Units of chariots were 5-6 and infantry 24.
Terrain did bottle up chariot movement on both sides. Egyptians won the day as the Hittites failed to get the better of Egyptian meele troops.
Bowfire good but certainly did not dominate.

Sorry but just overview of game but will provide more details and photos etc next time.

I found it easier thinking of chariots as cavalry in terms of tactics. This helped using them without too much thinking about exactly how they were used in antiquity, to which we only limited information.
The rules worked well to give enjoyable chariot battle and although brittle at times can also be tough to kill on the battlefield.
