I am an experienced Armati player but I have a question regarding "Tactical Factors in Melee". The +1 modifier for unit width seems to be very restictive. If I interpret it correctly then the ONLY time you get this bonus is if a Single unit is facing a Single unit and one is wider than the other. Is this correct? It also appears that there is no bonus for overlaps in Armati. Is this correct?
Thanks, Mike O'Brien |

Both correct. May I suggest to join the Armati yahoogroups for any other clarification about the rules http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ARMATI/ |

Not nessessery. Remember, phasing player chooses the melee direction. One of your units may overlap your enemy unit on one side of the line. Also, 2 units vs. 1 unit in a melee area will usually overlap the single unit on both sides. Check the rules again, it is very clearly stated. |
