I want to depict the battles of the French Civil war and Dutch Wars. Will Armati be suitable? Also, do you know whether it carries army lists for this period? Thank you |

Unfortunately, Armati II does not cover those wars. The rules cover up to the introduction of gunpowder. Armati I (and Advanced Armati) cover the your period of interest. I believe that the rules are still available from Wargames, Inc. Cheers, John |

The all-new Armati Renaissance ruleset is in play test stage at the moment, but when it will be released is anyone's guess

well, probably 2008 at the rate that these rules usually come out. Look how long it took A2 to come out and now Tactica II. |

and if the Yahoo list for Armati Renaissance is any gauge, I think the '08 estimate is a bit optimistic. Little to no activity there. |
