Having finished my third 6mm ancients army I was wondering who else plays BI or DBA at 6mm. I know the people at Geektatcitca do so (they were the insipiration for my armies). But who else? Why did you choose that scale.

For me it was the balance between mass look and fast collection of armies.

I have Roman and Carthaginian armies in 6mm for the Punic Wars. I got them originally to use with BBDBA, but now I'm more inclined to use Lost Battles.

I just introduced our group to Basic Impetus using Baccus 6mm ECW and the Basic Baroque lists. Everyone really liked the rules and we'll be trying other periods and armies.

Never seen the field of battle…….

Lots of figures, unpainted for 6mm DBA or similar (they are on 60 x 30mm bases) for Sasanians, Later Romans, Byzantines, Mithridatic etc.

I have two feudal medieval armies done (based for warmaster) and like PzGeneral above, have never seen the field of battle.

Not DBA, but I have 6mm DBN (Napoleonic variant of DBA) armies, Peninsular to be specific. I like 6mm for the element based armies because with 6mm, you can make a base look like an actual unit (command, skirmishers, etc.). I plan on basing 6mm for Basic Impetus as well….when I get the rest of me lead painted.
