I've just finished up a couple of armies as part of my Basic Impetus project. The challenge was that I could only use spare figures that I had about the house (ie, I could not buy anything new for the armies), so most of these are figures that came with ebay lots I've bought in the past or that were surplus to requirements in some way. Anyway, they're now done, and some pictures are up on my blog for those who might be interested. First, I must thank Swampster and Andy McMaster for helping with figure identification earlier on in the piece, and to the contributors to this TMP thread (Iosart and Tarentella especially) which helped me work out how to do the bases: TMP link Pics and descriptions for the Gauls:

Very nice! Like the shield color. Those Gaul cavalry have some energetic poses too. |
