Can't find a list of traders for the Warfare show at Reading this year – website only has list of traders for 2014. Does anyone have more info? Particularly interested in whether any traders will be carrying the Art de la Guerre rules.

Khazarmac27 Oct 2015 10:07 a.m. PST

Caliver is where I bought mine from, and they usually attend.

ashill227 Oct 2015 3:49 p.m. PST

Khazarmac, thanks for responding. Have you had a chance to use the rules and, if so, what did you think of them. My experience has been with DBM and DBA for ancients and medieval games.

Foresightpaint28 Oct 2015 12:43 p.m. PST

I can't find a traders list either. There must be one somewhere – why make it so hard to uncover? For goodness sake, it's the reason so many people will go (or not)

Floor Plan with Traders on W.A.R. Facebook page;
Link on web site-

Click on Facebook then posting on Warfare- another link there should bring up this plan

You will need to increase the zoom level about three times to read the traders names but they are on there.

Jefthing29 Oct 2015 12:52 a.m. PST

A simple list on the web site you could actually read would suffice for most of us!

Gwydion29 Oct 2015 7:31 a.m. PST

Take it up with W.A.R. then – I was just being helpful and answering the question. grin

GUNBOAT29 Oct 2015 9:07 a.m. PST

Did take this up last night at WAR

So cut and pasted the post form TMP hope it helps

This was on TMP 11th August

This is our confirmed list of attending traders. If there are any cancellations I will let you all know.

North Star sell and distribute it in the UK – you could ask them which traders they have sent stock to

Jefthing29 Oct 2015 10:35 a.m. PST

Sorry Gwydion, I wasn't having a go at you! Just thought it rather silly to keep a list of last years traders on the front page and send you to Facebook for a fuzzy diagram!

Gwydion29 Oct 2015 11:15 a.m. PST

Oh yes, I agree- crazy.
Apologies for being petulant – shouldn't post with 9 year old bellowing in ear he wants to play Subbuteo! Sorry.

ashill230 Oct 2015 5:10 a.m. PST

Thanks for all the responses, especially the list from Gunboat. I did manage to get to the floor plan on Facebook but just could not figure out how to get it to a readable size on screen. There is at least one seller of ADLG on the list – I'll wait and see if they offer discounts if ordering in advance of the show.

Jefthing30 Oct 2015 6:34 a.m. PST

Tee hee! I'm going to end all my posts with a smiley face in future!
I should be there, so if you see someone trying to balance on crutches and go through Andy Grubb's Britannia boxes come and say hello :-)

GUNBOAT10 Nov 2015 6:33 a.m. PST

No problem ashill2
Pop over and have a chat to me on my sons trade stand Elite Wargames and Models .Ill be on there or on the door over the weekend .

Foresightpaint12 Nov 2015 11:01 a.m. PST

Do any of these traders have Minden Miniatures?

Supercilius Maximus13 Nov 2015 2:40 a.m. PST

……he wants to play Subbuteo!

And why not – as a friend of mine used to say: "It's finger-flickin' good!!!"

Is this your old set, or can you still buy it?

davejl13 Nov 2015 12:03 p.m. PST

Great info thanks. I'm really pleased to see that Gringo40s will be there. if you haven't seen the figures from the wide range available, make sure you go and have a look. I promise that you won't be disappointed. looking forward to going to the stall and getting the great service I had at Derby
