fOR Romans whoact like Romans, and Pilae that have Pilae From another thread: ". . . Justin Taylors (of Veni Vidi Vici fame)Alea Iacta Est . . . Available, I believe, as a download at the VVV website. 3vwargames.co.uk regards Paul F" Went to the VVV web page in the prior post. It appears there is no download but you can buy a CD. Noted there are some game markers as well. Do you use / need these to use with "The Die is Cast"? If so, how many? Is there anything else I need / should pick up for these rules? I'll be shipping to the USA so I really don't want to order twice here. Help me out a little. mjc |

My apologies quidveritas, It appears Justin did away with the free download when he made the disc. You don't need any equipment for play other than dice and rules (d6, d10, d average) and a ruler. Basing is not critical, as long as both sides are based the same. We've modified them heavily to suit our own ideas and needs (for different periods) but the basic rules are good and quick to play. We managed to plat Carhae and Bagradas in the same day, and played Magnesia on a 10-12 feet frontage, 4 players a side in a single day. Feel free to contact me via persanl message for more info. regards Paul F |
