Would the army books for the SAGA version of Medieval Warfare be compatible with the Foundry version, the lists in the back of the book aren't exactly comprehensive. Also does anyone know off the top of their head what all armies are covered in the Saga 450 to 1200 army book? I am thinking about buying it if it turns out I can use it with the Foundry version of the game.

The lists are compatible with the Foundry rulebook. The Foundry version is almost identical to the SAGA original.

I don't suppose anyone could give me an idea of what is included in the 450 to 1200 book? I'm torn between buying it or a copy of glutter of ravens, I'm hoping it has good coverage of dark age Britain, early Saxon, Sub Roman British kingdoms, Picts and the like. If it doesn't I'll go with Glutter of Ravens but I hate to jump into another game especially considering how much I like Medieval Warfare.

Hey amdaniels. I like Medieval Warfare as well. I've only played Ancient Warfare (own both) but the 2 seem pretty much the same. AW was kinda like the old 7th ed style battle. Units, commands, charts, stuff like that. But with one huge difference. It was fun. It didn't make my head hurt like 7th (and fog for that matter) used to, and it was fun.

Anyway, to answer your question, lists in the 450-1200AD book:
Arthurian-Briton mid 5th-mid 6th, Germanic Tribes mid 5th-mid 8th, Pict late 5th-late 9th, Wessex Period Saxon early 7th- early 11th…and then we're really much later than what you're interested in.

There's also a Scots-Irish (55BC-450AD) list in The Republican Roman and Wars of the Empire book.

I've got older lists from SAGA but I think they are supposed to be revising and updating them. There's a group that is supported and should be able to answer any questions you have.
