Remember back in 2005, when I promised pictures of those Sumerian chariot stands in 6mm?

If you could get hold of MOA1 would you do it or wait for version 2? These rules look pretty good and seem to have goo reviews!

I have MOA 1. The updates for MOA2 are on the yahoo web sites. Not really sure of the exact changes for game play, but from I read they're more additions and not changes to the basic game. I enjoy MOA 1, and have used a few mods from the yahoo group successfully. So to answer your question get MOA 1 and look for changes or if you want a brand new shiny book, then…

What do you think will happen to the value of the 1st Edition when 2nd Edition comes out? I have a copy of MoA that is unused and that I don't intend to play, preferring WMA.

From what I've seen from the QRS for v2, there really is not much difference. It's mostly tweaks to the game. Some fixes to make light infantry armies less powerful. Elite troops (class A and B) are also toned down slightly. I am sure there are other changes.

CPBelt your copy of MoA might be worth something. There was a copy sold on ebay uk tonight for £15.49 GBP and Spirit Games was looking for £18.00 GBP copy. So you may be lucky.

Well,

I would wait till 2nd, unless you can find a copy of 1st for a good price. It tends to fall to bits fast. Our group have been playing it since it was released. Ain't nothing out there that is more flexible. Yes, we looked!

I have a copy of MOA 1 that is reasonably good shape which I'd sell for $12 USD shipping included. I've moved over to Impetus and don't see any likelihood that I'll play MOA again. It would be nice to find a home for this set.

Is there any new when MOA 2 will be out?
