You could buy the book, Miniscapes -- How to make Table Top Terrain
for Pennies by Gary Leitzell and Lee Howard. I just saw an ad that says,
"You can make walls, fences, trees and buildings for miniature dioramas,
model railway displays and table top wargames. This guide explains how to
make models from cheap materials for pennies!" I saw some of this guy's stuff at a convention and was pretty impressed. It's $15.00 to:
