Laser Wood Discs at Hobby Lobby

ThunderAZ Supporting Member of TMP writes:

Amazon has a ton of laser cut base sizes for pretty cheap. The Chinese sites do as well. Then there is eBay which sucks to sell on, but is fine to buy from.

Since I recently wrote about the disappointing selection of wood at Walmart, it seemed time to see what was on hand at Hobby Lobby (a major U.S. arts-and-crafts chain). They formerly had a good select of smaller wooden shapes.

To my surprise, the only item in stock that I would consider useful for wargaming are these wooden discs.

The pack is labeled 4 Laser Wooden Discs and retails for $1.99 USD. Made in China.

The size is given as 3.1" diameter (7.87 cm). What gives with all these oddball sizes?

The thickness is roughly 2.5mm.

I also checked the company website, and I found their search engine to be terrible. I could not find the 3.1" discs, so perhaps they have been discontinued. I could, however, find 3 7/16" discs, as well as some bagged sets of miscellaneous discs and rectangles (exact sizes not stated).
