We've received some samples from Steve Jackson Games for their CARnage 2 Kickstarter. In a previous article, we took a look at a sample vehicle.

Sample figures

However, the sample figures provided were fresh from being 3Dprinted, and their supports needed to be trimmed away!

Sample figures

And here are the figures, having been given a basic clean-up.

Billy Bob

This is Super Fan Billy Bob. He's described as wearing a 'beer can hat'. His flag snapped off during clean-up, unfortunately.

Mimi

This is Super Fan Mimi, described as a grandmother. Her skirt is open at the bottom, which is amazing technically, but clean-up and painting under there may be challenging. I took extra care to make sure her ankles did not snap during clean-up.

Crew Figure

This is identified as a crew figure.

Crew Figure

And another crew figure. Parts of his base broke off during clean-up. Comparing to the website photos, it seems I was supposed to trim off more from the end of the gun.

Comparison shot

Finally, here's a comparison shot with two of the sample figures, and another figure I happened to have convenient. The sample figures are more correct to scale, but may be delicate depending on how you 3Dprint them.

We'll get some paint on these for a future article.
