We previously looked at the Institute Core Set for Modiphius' Fallout miniatures game. In case you need more robots, let's look at the Institute Synths boxed set:

Institute Synths boxed set

This cardboard box contains two ziploc bags:

Institute Synths box contents

Each bag contains three figure sprues, so there are six total figures in this set: four of the smaller Gen 1 Synths, and two of the larger Gen 2 Synths.

Gen 1 Synth

Each sprue contains all the parts for one figure, plus a scenic base. Shown above is one of the Gen 1 Synths. Pins on the feet fit into the base; pins on the shoulders fit into holes on the arms. This appears to be the rightmost figure in the cover pic, in the "baseball" pose.

Gen 1 Synth

Another Gen 1 Synth, again armed with some kind of baton weapon. All figures are modeled in a flexible resin. Any wispy flash should be trimmed with a sharp blade. Leftmost figure in the cover pic, in the "looking over there" pose.

Gen 1 Synth

Gen 1 Synth with a gun. The flash shows white in the picture, but is actually transparent and very thin. Third-from-left figure in cover pic, hard to see in picture but assembly looks straightforward.

Gen 1 Synth

Final Gen 1 Synth, with gun and carrying unknown object. Second-from-right in the cover pic.

Gen 2 Synth

One of the larger Gen 2 Synths, armed with a gun. Assembly might be tricky, getting the body and both arms to line up. Seond-from-left in cover pic, in the leaning/running pose.

Gen 2 Synth

And finally, a Gen 2 Synth with baton-weapon.

These models should be useful, not just for Fallout, but for any sci-fi gaming where robots/cyborgs are needed.
