I could have easily chosen ten off this list. Sadly, some of those ten have already been remade--often very badly. So which version of the movie am I asking them not to remake?

Oh. And in particular which version of The Three Musketeers is not supposed to be remade? The others have been remade once or twice, but the list on The Three Musketeers would be a very long one.

Unless Pia Zadora would do the remake…

Star Wars should be completely restored to its original 1977 theatrical release.

I do think a few excellent films on the list could nevertheless be successfully remade without being a patch on the original. Others should be left to stand on their own, and some should be unmade, if that were possible.

Stagecoach has been remade a number of times; some are quite watchable, though the original remains the best.

The remake of True Grit is an exceptional piece of work that honors the original and in some ways improves upon it (it's not stuck with Glenn Campbell's lack of acting ability, for one).

not sure many of these deserve not to be remade.

star wars 4 and 5 should be restored to original and left as an example of what the franchise could have been

The Sixth Sense should not have been made in the first place

I can imagine what a remake of Zulu or The Wind and the Lion would look like from today's Hollywood. Shudder.

Zulu?
Anybody moves to remake Zulu and I'm going to be doing life without parole after an up close and personal meeting with a bunch of move execs.

Somethings just should not be touched. Now, if you want to make a movie from the Zulu perspective, go for it, I'll throw in a few bucks.
