Well not miniatures for sure. A board game, assuming you could find some else on the train that can play "Panzer Africa" or whatever. |

I'm thinking a pocket game Ogre or GEV map glued to a sheet magnet, and counters glued to steel. Then empty out a Chessex dice 16mm container and put one 12mm die in it. It's the only way I can see not losing the die. Can't argue about flying, Rallynow--but I can tell you some stories about both AMTRAK and BritRail. Korean and German trains were always clean and on time with no overbooking, and in both countries there were often vendors with roast chestnuts at the train stations. (Coincidence? Maybe.) But I'm so old that I can remember when flying in the United States was easy and pleasant. There is no mode of travel which can't be screwed up. |
