I'm mostly in the no, but with every new range of caesarian or early empire, I wish they'd done middle empire/severan or late empire instead |

We can always use more Romans, and there are still grenadier batallions not represented on my tabletop. Rick |

Exactly One can never have too many Romans |

No big deal for me. I always play the enemies of Rome. And, gosh darn it, one of these days I will win. |

Mildly annoyed but not upset. I do understand that they need to sell to survive. If that is what sells, then who am I to judge? |

Doesn't bother me a bit. More choice is always better! |

Where is the "I get excited when a new range of Romans/French/etc. comes out" option? |
miniMo | 07 Oct 2015 7:56 a.m. PST |
Roger that etotheipi! I may have a great many Romans already, but I'm still really excited to see the great new sculpts Baueda is doing right now and I'm backing their Indiegogo campaign! link Romans, my dear Jeeves, are like cowbells. Whenever you think you have enough of them, you are wrong. |

Why would I get upset? I don't play anything close to ancients unless you count fantasy… |
Terrement | 07 Oct 2015 9:24 a.m. PST |
Never upset about new figs, other than ones that have scale crept beyond what will work with what I have. If it is a period I don't game, no problem. If it is a period I do game, then it is a question as to the need for more in that area and the quality and price. I play more solo and small unit to 1:1 skirmish than mass battles, so not as big a problem when Knuckleduster comes out with six more gunfighters as it is with folks who are fielding armies of figs and have to decide whether to bite the bullet on new units rather than new individual figures. |

I'm like someone in their early 20s: I'm still waiting for the perfect Romans to come along. Not too short, not too soft-of-detail, not oddly proportioned, not too having-of-insane-postage-in-pounds-sterling. I'll take plastic or metal though, which means I'm not fussy, right? Soon I'll be like that same person in their late 30s: Everyone has Romans but me! All the good Romans are taken! Finally the time will come to settle for any old Romans. |

Actually always somewhat excited when a new (28mm) Roman range is announced. Especially late (4th-5th 6th C)Romans. Personally I would very much like to see a 15thC East Roman range but that probably won't happen in my life time. And that's probably not what was meant by 'Romans' |
