Others for consideration.

How about the Brit Paratrooper set with the guy aiming a machine gun at passing flocks of birds?

Or the original US marine set with the weaponless running guys?

I also recall a the original eighth army set having a guy holding his stomach and looking as if he was running for a toilet. Never did understand what that was about.

I believe the "bloke losing his helmet" is a Marx figure.

Thanks, Ragbones, I was wondering why I'd never seen him before.

The guy bending over makes more sense when paired with the open supply cannister that also came in that set. But the "look Dad, I found the holiday snapshots" attitude is hard to forgive.

They are all silly poses but I voted for the bloke bending over.

Bloke holding the muzzle end of his musket is the silliest pose ever.

Wally Simon used to call it the"I'm gonna bop you over the head pose".

I'm sorry I missed the suggestion phase somehow though many of the nominees there are not in the poll.

Also there are figs pictured among the suggestions that are worse than the entries – nearly all the U.S. Marines should be candidates, and the ACW guy running at the trail waving to his comrades is beyond useless, as is the ACW prone guy just quietly waiting.

I suggest a do over or another round that includes the rest of the suggestions.

The pair of figures running with the roll of wire in the WW1 British set ranks high.

…many of the nominees there are not in the poll.

They did not include photos.

Mserafin made the two points I wanted to make!

And Ragbones is correct in pointing out that that isn't an Airfix figure. #Fakepose

Bloke bending over was always one of my favorite useless figures. When I was a kid we often chose (or did not chose) Airfix sets based on how many "useless guys" were included.

I always liked the WW I unarmed British figure sitting on the ground for sheer uselessness.

Bloke bending over for me – when I was a kid I always wondered what he was picking up or if he was just doing stretches

Context again, he is a casualty being tended by a medic. First two figures in this pic.

Still pretty useless outside of a diorama though

I always liked the WW I unarmed British figure sitting on the ground for sheer uselessness.

I believe that his purpose was to donate his head for figure conversions…..
