Some of these books would be so obvious, that they would not have read it. I would be much more likely to believe someone read the "Guns of August". But someone claiming to have read Durant's "History of Civilization" I would be more suspicious of that claim. |

If someone asked me "Have you read X" my answers would be truthful, and would vary between "Yes", "No" and "So long ago I remember little/nothing from it". Unless defending some point for which I have no legitimate evidence. |
