Don't paint AoS ships that big, mine are either 1/2400 or 1/3000th.

Guns out.

AoS games are about combat. In order to have combat, guns must be out.

I like the look of ships that have guns run out, with topsails and jib set. In fact, I have quite a few in my 1/1200 ship collection. I will say though, that they are more of a pain to paint.

A mix with most out. Ships in combat occasionally closed up briefly.
