I wouldn't call them 'excellent' but a large amount of people seem to find them fun and playable…

Downloading the free QILS material is not an indicator.

But several thousand accounts (admitting that a person could have multiple acocunts, then again, one person buying tends to indicate at least two playing) going back to buy the non-free stuff after downloading free stuff seems to be an endorsement of quality.

This is a hard one to answer.

One set absolutely sucked, and still does during the rewrites because I am stuck in the "realism/detail vs playability/simplicity" quagmire.

Another set won a GAMA award.

YMMV…and probably does.
