TEA! (but coffee for this poll!)

Coffee in the morning Beer in the evening.

I can go through a day just fine without beer but a morning without coffee is too horrible to contemplate.

I would have to agree with "Wargames Widows", except I would rather have tea if I couldn't have coffee (no beer please!)

No tea??? Oh well will have to be beer then!!

I like the taste of coffee okay but if I never had any ever again I wouldn't be bothered in the least. Not so with the beer…

Hmmm, today Iīve had three beers and two coffees, so I suppose 60% of the time I prefer beer :)

Beer isn't an option for me, so I guess it's a good thing I really like coffee.

Neither, I really! really! don't like coffee or beer. I would have to be dieing to drink either. So I can't vote on this one.

Coffee first thing in the A.M., and then later coffee, and later in the day, let me see, coffee again. Three to five a day, taken as needed.

Beer only because I dont like coffee

I do not drink beer, and only coffee as a last resort.

Both are essential to life, so making an either/or choice is right out.

Seriously, it's like asking me to choose between water and bourbon. BOTH are essential to life, too.

Diabetics restricts the beer quite a bit – I now only sample it when I am traveling someplace where it is interesting.

Diabetes does, indeed restrict the amount of beer one should have. But since I despise coffee, and neither tea nor diet coke were options, I have to choose beer.

I hope it's a good beer.

I'd prefer beer, but Dunkin' Donuts doesn't serve it 'round here. Nor do the State Police have as much problem with me sucking on my espresso as I roll down the road as they would with me knocking back a Forty of Malt Liquor while I was cruising down the interstate.

A close one but ultimately coffee wins for me.

Tea for me – never did get a taste for coffee – I picked beer because I do drink it, but only a couple a week

My preference is Earl Grey steeped for about three minutes, with a dash of money or sugar – no milk for me, I am pale enough already!

I drink neither, but mocha ice-cream is good stuff, and I like tea and Coca-Cola, so I went for the caffeine choice.

Guiness! It's beer that tases like it has coffee in it! (actually, I prefer coffee for gaming – gaming with drunks is not fun.)

For once I really needed a 'neither' choice in a poll.

I'm with Ouzel on this but I selected coffee only as the lesser of two evils. Really dislike both of them. Don't like the taste of coffee and so never drink it, but beer is truly foul to my taste. Something about brewed alcohol doesn't agree with me at all, even to the point when they replaced wine coolers with 'coolers' – drank a swallow of that once and thought 'nasty stuff tastes like beer' .. read the label and find no wine in it, and it says 'a malt beverage'. The whole concept makes me doubt the sanity of our species.

Coffee is a must. It'll keep me awake and motivated to find something to replace the lack of beer. BTW, does it matter what kind of beer? I mean, I'd pick Ale or Stout over Pilsner.

My answer is still, and always shall be, coffee.

I can't decide. That's why I mix them together in the same mug.

As a beverage to enjoy while gaming, beer would have been my preference in my youth. But now, given that most games run past my bedtime, it's coffee for me.

As I occasionally actually drink a beer, I had to go with it. Otherwise this was almost a poll I couldn't answer. Neither should have been an option.

I think a better question would be Coffee or Tea.
