Minwax Polyshades for me thumbs up

It's a system that cleverly charges ten times as much for what people have already been using for ages.
But it has a Brand Name!!!
And you don't have to go to one of those smelly hardware stores.
In the States, try Ace Hardware for Tudor Satin.

I just mix my own with floor wax then clear coat. Then again I use craft paints to paint my minis. Because minis paints are way over priced these days.

Yes, i use it.
I find it very convenient and locally available.
I like the "system" and it has actually got a friend of mine who "doesnt do paint" to actually paint his figures rather than get me to paint them for him :)

No. Too expensive.

I may not use the 'system' fully (not a fan of the dip part) but I like their paints and I really like that the primer spray and the brush colors match exactly.

I use some of their sprays. Good quality.

MinWax Polyshades, it is way cheaper. Lasts and cannot be dissolved by skin oils/perspirations.
Ace Hardware will order you a six-pack for about $7 USD a pint. Mineral Spirits are your friend, good to go.

Oh, and you don't dip your figures in it; you paint it on and blow off the excess and the tiny bubbles.

I really like their brushes.

I use some of their sprays for priming but I'm increasingly thinking to move to some cheap Rustoleum and then airbrushing for priming and base coating.

No. It's cheating!
