Liked the old Cybermen – new steam powered one's not so much.

So I'll go Daleks.

Its super close but I'll say cybermen on account of cybermen stories generally being better on average.
The daleks are cooler villains but their stories have been far more variable in quality.

The Autons were my favourites, I remember them scaring me as a kid from the 1st Jon Pertwee adventure, especially when they stepped down from the shop windows and started blasting away.
The older style Cybermen are my next favourite baddies.

I love how they have fit the Weeping Angels in to the show. They are inherently scary and fit the show's "low budget" theme too.


The Master is a close second.
